The Eclectic Homeschooler
I'm what you would call an eclectic homeschooler. I don't use one prepackaged curriculum to achieve my goals for each child. I use a little of this, a little of that. I pick a math program that works best for Elena and a different one for Carmelita. I buy some counting bears for Niko, only to resell them a month later when he would rather count his cars. I hear about a fabulous history unit study, and we use that for a while&151;until I read about an amazing set of historical biographies. [more...]
